This otherwise unnotable steet in Vancouver's West End is named in relation to the BC Bedwell placenames, though obvoiusly a misspelling (like Chilco vs Chilko Streeet an "optional spelling" streetname-origin). I'm not sure which; other West End placenames tend to be name for waterbodies, but Bedwell Bay, Bedwell Harbour and Bedwell Sound are all widely dispersed geographically.
