Eugenics

There is some evidence that Bea has white supremecist views. "In her last interview, with journalist James Ricketson, she stated that the intellect of the world was declining because the white race was degenerating, showing she still adhered to the eugenic and white supremacy ideals that Miles held so strongly." @Chris.sherlock: - so, this poses an issue for us because it's been resolved that Quadrant is an unreliable source for our purposes. Because I'm a stubborn bastard, I managed to track down a digitised copy of a five-page profile Ricketson wrote on Miles after her death. Ricketson describes that deathbed quote of Miles a bit differently: he says he asked her "Was there any hope for the world that she viewed so pessimistically?" and that she said "There is no cure for the major ills of the world because our intellect's declining, and the white races, at least, are degenerating. We're all better off dead." In Quadrant, Kaplan says "And Bee herself does not get off entirely. In her last interview, with journalist James Ricketson, she stated that the intellect of the world was declining because the white race was degenerating, showing she still adhered to the eugenic and white supremacy ideals that Miles held so strongly." Do you read the original quote the same way? Initially I thought I didn't, then I decided I wasn't sure.
