Reliable sources edit

  • If a photo of a porpoise sledge in use in 1944, is not a reliable source, I am done here.
  • If a Russian book on a Russian sled is not a reliable source, I am done here.

I will let others have the page. Telecine Guy (talk) 00:52, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

What is the source of the photograph? Who took it? Where was it taken? How do we know it was taken in 1944? How do we know what it is showing? How do we know the sled was used in WW2? We need more than just a photograph.
Regarding the book citation, a scan or an excerpt from that source would go a long way. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 02:47, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • A restored porpoise sledge is on display at Musées America & Gold Beach in Ver-sur-Mer, France. The Gold Beach porpoise sledge inauguration ceremony was on June 30, 2012. Telecine Guy (talk) 04:50, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
