Talk:Battle of Boquerón (1866)

Unless anybody really objects, I propose to expand and clean up this article. For example, it presently presupposes that the battles of Boquerón and Sauce were two different battles, when really they were the same three day event. (In fact, they are just two names for the same thing: the full name of the location being "Boquerón del Sauce"). It's important to give some idea of the topography. Better sources are needed too, and rather more scepticism is required when reading sources who purport to record precise casualties as if they were actual facts instead of the rough guesses they really were.

But I don't want to tread on anyone's toes, and I'd appreciate any comments before I get going. Ttocserp 15:48, 19 April 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prkprescott (talkcontribs)
