I've revamped this article and merged in the stubs that were linked from it; there are more that need to be merged. Quarl (talk) 2006-01-29 20:18Z

Revenge of the Sith edit

Are the standard droids in Episode III used for comic effect? (Don't put this in the actual article). For a more knowledgeable and relaxed Wikipedia- Nemesis646 (talk) 08:32, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think they are used for comedic effect from the beginning. Remember the first time in EpI when they are massacred by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan? I think that's hilarious. 81.182.237.230 (talk) 17:49, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Recent Reaction? edit

I think this section must be about some obscure forum post somewhere in a hidden part of the Internet. I mean the first scene of the first Star Wars movie starts with a droid having fear and this remained all along like this. Is it still possible that someone criticized this in a meaningful fashion? 81.182.237.230 (talk) 17:48, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Googling for "battle droid personality" does turn up some discussions on this, but I haven't found anything cite-worthy. The battle droid personalities in Ep. III *are* silly, which is why I didn't delete the section immediately after it was added, but since no good source has surfaced, the section should probably be deleted. — DataWraith (talk) 09:06, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

IG-88 edit

The way the "Assassin droid" section is written, it would seem that IG-88 is a typical battle droid with red shoulder parts from the times of Phantom Menace - but in fact, IG-88 was built much later, as a project of the empire. None of the publications indicate that it looks like them (just do a google-image search) and its personality is very different from them, too. Could someone rewrite that? I would do it myself, but since english is not my native language, I fear that I couldn't really express myself.188.101.117.133 (talk) 19:08, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Video game appearances edit

Don't they appear as enemies in Disney Infinity 3.0? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.79.235.51 (talk) 20:50, 18 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Droid Additions edit

I think we should add the droid commandoes from the episode "Rookies" in the Clone Wars TV series. The spider droid and its basic variations. I would but I don't have the time to continue and do any real research. 66.213.10.220 (talk) 20:03, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
