Recentism edit

I only learned of this guy today, heard he had over a twenty year career with a devoted fan base. I have no opinion of his music. But from this article structure, a naïve reader might think the only reason he has a Wikipedia article is because of recent legal issues: a glossed over career followed by a HIGHLY DETAILED sexual allegation section. Everyone loves controversy, but please, tone it back, folks, per good style, common sense, and WP:PROPORTION: For example, discussion of isolated events, criticisms, or news reports about a subject may be verifiable and impartial, but still disproportionate to their overall significance to the article topic. Writing a thorough and balanced article is more important than writing a "technically true" article lending undue weight towards whatever is in Rolling Stone or Vice this week. Making an article NPOV can involve removing content of less relevance, at least until the rest of the article can expand so that a controversy section doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. --Animalparty! Page rewrite edit

Hi - I've been working on re-writing this page over the past few days. I plan to continue expanding each section as there is still significant info missing but if anyone has time to take a look and advise with feedback or expand on my efforts, I'd appreciate the help. Controversies edit

Only heard of this guy today. Came here to find info and found none. Why is there no 'controversies' section? Seems pretty major to his history. 216.154.1.17 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 14:25, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

There’s multiple paragraphs covering his legal controversies in the article. Pdubs.94 (talk) 00:40, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
