Mr. Lynn's eloquent reply to Congressman Palazzo on his sharing of Bibles to members of Congress edit

"Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, condemned the gesture by saying the Bible is not an appropriate guide for legislation.

"When a politician calls for using the Bible as the basis for public policy, what he or she is really saying is, 'Let's use the Bible as I interpret it as the basis for public policy.’ When it comes to religion, our nation is pluralistic and diverse. Rather than look to the Bible or any other religious book to craft our nation's public policy, we would do well to examine another source instead, one that was actually created to guide governance. It's called the Constitution,” he said.

PDF source edit

Okay got it. If we need to smear S.Palin or J.Hogan, any old PDF will do. But to show this man is fine with child porn (in principle), well that's original research. glad we got that clear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.254.241.226 (talk) 03:10, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

24.254.241.226: Actually, the (child-porn) content you're referring to is no longer in the article and the thread you are referring to was posted four years ago. Shearonink (talk) 04:14, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
