Barea Soranus the suffect consul edit

(This is more a note to myself to investigate when I have the references at hand than a general comment.) There have been several mentions of Barea Soranus being cos. suff. in AD 26. However, this article is about the son of that cos. suff., while claiming he was cos. suff. Yet the list of consuls doesn't mention a Barea Soranus in 26 -- although there is one at AD 34. What is the right answer? I wish that these articles included more reliable sources... -- llywrch (talk) 17:38, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I had the time to research this matter further. The chief problem was that Soranus was confused with his father, cos. suff. 34 & procos. Africa 41-43; this Soranus was cos. 52 & procos. Asia 61/62. Reverted the article to last correct version & rewrote it. -- llywrch (talk) 22:56, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
