On the massacre edit

The so-called massacre had its number up to 20, there are many sources but Srpska Mreza explains this properly, it was Albanian-US propaganda which rose the number to 60, and the names dont exist. Jordovan 16:15, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Joschka Fischer in his address to the press office a week later confirmed that over 60 were confirmed killed by Serbian forces. DW reported it. And Mr. Jordovan. I come from Barakovo and lost family, and I know how much it was, so do everyone a favour and stick to what you know. There is proof in BBC and proof in ITCY. Barbaric 16:18, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
They are hardly reliable sources, they supported the Albanian campaign right the way through. Srpska Mreza clearly confirms that it was 20 and so do other reports from outside Serbia. I will connect you to them. Jordovan 16:19, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The current Attribution policy clearly states that "the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is whether material is attributable to a reliable published source, not whether it is true." - It then goes on to say that "any unsourced material may be removed".

Based on that, I removed unsourced contentious text about "horrific massacres" and "surviving onslaughts". - Please, re-insert it only when you're able to both attribute that material to a reliable source and cite that source as a reference.

Just for the record: I didn't remove the text because I disagree with the content (on which I have no knowledge whatsoever), but merely because its unsourced status infringed the current policy on attribution.

If you have any question in regard to the attribution policy or citing sources, I will be happy to help and lend you a hand. - Best regards, Ev 17:46, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

On the existence of Barakovo edit

I believe this article should be nominated for deletion since the place isn't real. Balkantropolis 16:46, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm investigating this. Fut.Perf. 16:49, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Seems to be hoax indeed. AfD'd: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barakovo. Fut.Perf. 17:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I too cannot find place with this name in Serbia, but there are several places with this name in other countries: http://fallingrain.com/world/a/B/a/r/a/k/o/ So, instead of deleting article, it could be just transformed into disambiguation page that mention all these places. PANONIAN (talk) 15:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, it is even possible that this place exist in Serbia too, but that it is just a hamlet, not official settlement, and therefore, it cannot be found in available sources. PANONIAN (talk) 15:18, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Still here edit

I don't know why this page is still here. 212.24.91.2 07:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
