Proposed merge with Robertsdale Elementary

Ok, I see what you added to my article. Honestly I don't think there's anything notable about the school (At least for wikipedia) or to my knowledge. I only created the article because I live in this area and I wanted a page for it. Also, if you can answer this; I'll do research to see if there's anything notable enough to kept the page or merge it with this page, however I'm not sure what to look for is there anything that I should look out for? According to WP:NSCHOOL there would have to be a lot of independent sources from outside the school's area, indicating something very notable about this elementary school for it to have a separate page, which seems to be very hard to achieve; even Sandy Hook Elementary School, site of a major school shooting, does not have its own article(though there is one on the shooting itself). I would review the general notability guideline to see if there are any general criteria that might apply. One possibility might be is if it was on the National Register of Historic Places; it would then be notable as a historic structure. 331dot (talk) 16:38, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Um, well the one I wrote is a new school. The old building is a landmark. However, I would have to research it to see if it is. The problem is, I didn't write about the Older School Building which itself is no longer in use. So, keeping all this in mind, I believe it should be merged, unless of course I can prove that it's a historic landmark. Is there any way I can get some time to research this? There is no minimum or maximum time limit; since you indicated that you are doing some research, though, I doubt anyone will merge it right away. 331dot (talk) 16:48, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Redirect vs. Merge

May I suggest that a simple redirect is the best route here. I don't think any elementary school has its own page and they are all listed in the BCBE article. I'll give it some time and then initiate the redirect if that is acceptable. JodyB _talk 14:31, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
