Accuracy edit

At this point in time, more than 12 months before the end of the qualification period, I have got to question the naming of qualified athletes into the Olympics. This is beyond speculative WP:CHRYSTAL. What we get from the IAAF is lists of athletic performances. The qualification period is barely 2 months old. Correctly United States athletes are not named, but looking at the women's 400 metres, there are already 29 qualified athletes. Only 3 of them will go to the Olympics and that will not be decided for almost a full year in an entirely different athletics season. An entire new cast of characters is likely by that time. There are no automatic qualifiers for the Olympics.

The IAAF lists and our reporting is not accurate. In the women's 200 metres they have listed Virgin Ilands Flora Hyacinth as being qualified, even though Flora will turn 50 before the Olympics. Actually the time is for Canadian Kimberly Hyacinthe and she wasn't even the best Canadian IN THAT RACE.[1] But Canada is not even listed in the wikipedia section. IAAF is inaccurate, wikipedia is also inaccurate and incomplete. WP:BRD I'm going to blank the section. I'll leave the layout but it should not be visible for another +- 10 months, until actual Olympic team memberships are named. Trackinfo (talk) 19:54, 2 July 2015 (UTC) No booth Hyacinthe are on the IAAF timelist fore 2015. The canadian Hyacinthe is on 48 place, and the Virginisland Hyacinthe on 96 places.Reply

Reading in greater detail, relay NOC representation has been decided from the 2015 IAAF World Relays, so I will replace that section. Trackinfo (talk) 20:04, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Trackinfo, you should know that not every race can be counted to the qualification process, only the ones that is approved by IAAF. Bearas (talk) 05:31, 11 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Are you sure? edit

I've critiqued this kind of stuff before. How do we know, now in April 2016, what athletes will be selected. Looking at Women's Pole Vault, Germany lists Lisa Ryzih, Silke Spiegelburg, Martina Strutz. True they all have the qualifying mark, but what about Katharina Bauer (already over 4.65), what about the handful of other German women who are close to the qualifying mark? What is to say these three women will get selected in a few months? When there is only one athlete in a country capable of making the mark, possibly that is obvious, when there is competition, this is just someone playing WP:CRYSTAL an enthusiastic fan guessing game. I don't know the process in other countries. Before you post her; Do you? Trackinfo (talk) 07:18, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Relays edit

Trackinfo You added the final composition of the relay teams. Please tell us where to get this information. Especially I am interested 4*400 meters Men relay and place of Ukraine in this ranking.--Yasnodark (talk) 13:13, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
