editQuoting from the article, 'Sardar Lal Singh ... belongs to this village'. Does a person belong to a place? Would it be clearer to say Mr Singh was born here, or lives here, or this is his political base or constituency (whichever is the case), - or has the sense been reversed - the village belongs to him?
