Comment on oyster beds

edit

I had always heard the story of the oyster beds dying out due to mining pollution. However, "Reflections in Bulloughs Pond" by Diana Muir reports on a similar phenomenon in New England around the same time, which she attributes to sewage (introduction of running water rapidly increased household water usage, thus creating the need to dispose of that same water, cesspits no longer being sufficient- hence fecal matter which previously was accumulated and disposed of on land was discharged on masse into the waterways.) Amendments

edit

Transport

Bus Eireann's 006 service is no longer in operation. There is a train running every day which travels as far as Dundalk (Waterford connection seems to get a mention)

Bridgewater

Bridgewater Shopping Center seems to get no mention, despite being the main retail area of the town. --92.251.221.249 (talk) 09:05, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Its been a while. But it looks like the bus and rail points/updates have been addressed in the meantime. I've added a summary section covering retail. Including Bridgewater. Guliolopez (talk) 03:25, 28 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Allergan

edit

The article says "Allergan confirmed on 30 January 2008 that they will move their production to Costa Rica. This will take place over the next two years." It's now 2013. Anyone care to update? Jonur (talk) 06:15, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is now 2020. I have updated/removed the text. (I'm not sure anyone has this article on their watchlist. So I have added it to mine.) Guliolopez (talk) 02:09, 28 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
