I added some info back in about the redistrciting of Arizona after the most recent census. I didn't realize "gerrymander" was a POV term; I thought this was the standard term for redistricting. But fair enough, hopefully this will be better. --Deville (Talk) 03:50, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

AZ Congressional District 6 edit

This district has been redrawn and the map is not correct. There is no incumbent since it is a new district. Turtlemt (talk) 16:21, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Small correction needed due to map being redrawn edit

I contribute to Wikipedia financially, but I do not have the wherewithal to edit articles. God help us if I tried. Recently, I asked if a correction could be made to an article by a capable editor and someone was kind enough to fix it. I hope I can do this again. The error is very easily confirmed from another article on Wikipedia and is not controversial even though the article with the error is political in nature. I am sure that when the article was first published, it was accurate. However, the district borders have been redrawn (likely more than once) and new mountain ranges are in the district.

Article to be corrected: Arizona's 6th congressional district

Mistake: "Several mountain ranges run through the district with the highest peak in the Chiricahua Mountains at 9,796 feet"

Correct information found on Wikipedia article: Mount Graham

The correction should read: "Several mountain ranges run through the district with the highest peak in the Pinaleño Mountains at 10,724 feet (3,269 m)" 174.18.39.110 (talk) 21:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
