I have added a brief description of the area code because there are some differences within the area code that should be noted. Unlike the other area codes in NJ (such as 201 or 856), there are differences in the areas covered by 732. Of note, please note the differences within between the North/Central areas with local industries, the Monmouth County bedroom communities, the resort towns and the areas further south. Given these important differences, I feel a description is warranted. Jps57 (talk) 16:36, 16 April 2008 (UTC)jps57Reply

i live in bridgewater, and i believe part, if not most of the finderne neighborhood of bridgewater is 732, which is not listed here. I believe its mostly the parts closest to bound brook, but i wouldnt know. I could find you at least 5 numbers in my phone book of finderne residents with 732 area code. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.193.123.213 (talk) 21:27, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The distinction between North/Central NJ (including South Brunswick, which is to the south of several towns in the second category) and "Jersey Shore" seems arbitrary. Why not just break it down by county? Ectuohy (talk) 00:48, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
