Schools Assessment

edit

Main priority is gathering references to support the words - esp. the alumni. Alumni list got a "mid". Photo gallery would be a nice addition Victuallers 16:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Schools Assessment 2

edit

This is a solid C-class article. It just needs more references in proper format to qualify for B-class. Has there been any news coverage of the school? Be sure to reference this too. Review GA-class articles to see what you're shooting for. All in all great work. Calebrw (talk) 02:16, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Schools Assessment 3

edit

(B) Great work. This article is quite a bit better than it was when last reviewed. Third party refs look good, especially in proper format. I would consider adding the publisher tag to them so that your titles aren't so long and it give the viewer a frame of reference to the actual source.

Things I changed: Only the first word in a heading is capitalized. Buildings are not in bold, just past names of the school. Calebrw (talk) 14:37, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The following suggestions were generated by a semi-automatic javascript program, and might not be applicable for the article in question.

  •   Not done Please expand the lead to conform with guidelines at Wikipedia:Lead. The article should have an appropriate number of paragraphs as is shown on WP:LEAD, and should adequately summarize the article.[?]
  •   Done Per Wikipedia:Context and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates), months and days of the week generally should not be linked. Years, decades, and centuries can be linked if they provide context for the article.[?]
  •   Done Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (numbers), there should be a non-breaking space -   between a number and the unit of measurement. For example, instead of 1 km, use 1 km, which when you are editing the page, should look like: 1 km.[?]
  •   Not done When writing standard abbreviations, the abbreviations should not have a 's' to demark plurality (for example, change kms to km and lbs to lb).
  •   Done As per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates), dates shouldn't use th; for example, instead of (if such appeared in the article) using January 30th was a great day, use January 30 was a great day.[?]
  •   Not done Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings), headings generally should not repeat the title of the article. For example, if the article was Ferdinand Magellan, instead of using the heading ==Magellan's journey==, use ==Journey==.[?]
  •   Done Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings), avoid using special characters (ex: &+{}[]) in headings.
  • Generally, trivia sections are looked down upon; please either remove the trivia section or incorporate any important facts into the rest of the article.[?]
  • Please ensure that the article has gone through a thorough copyediting so that it exemplifies some of Wikipedia's best work. See also User:Tony1/How to satisfy Criterion 1a.[?]
