@Srnec: Have you checked the page history? The length is already almost double the length of the material copied from the parent, and I have only expanded the "first invasion" section from the numerous child articles. It will expand by the same again if not more when material is incorporated from the child articles for the second invasion. If you see the relevant campaign box, almost every other subdivision of the wider conquest has its own child article, so the Mesopotamia child article was conspicuously absent, particularly given that this portion of the wider conquest has the greatest number of individual battle child articles.
