Helen Matthews Lewis

Hey y'all?

Not sure how often this page is checked, but I wanted to just sort of survey and ask if there's any particular reason this page is totally lacking in reference to Helen Matthews Lewis, the "grandmother of Appalachian studies"? I don't have a ton of time right now, but if there's anyone free and interested it seems to me she at very least deserves a mention somewhere.

@FranklinOfNull:, the problem is not the links at the bottom. They are relevant. The problem is the external links throughout the text of the article, where only wikilinks are allowed. That's why the template is at the top of the article, not in the EL section. Skyerise (talk) 13:42, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
