Chief Executive of H.R.Owen plc
editTwo single purpose accounts are repeatedly adding information about the mission statement, turnover, profits and acquisitions of HR Owen, the company Duncan joined in 2010. This material is non-neutral promotion for the company, rather than anything directly relevant to the subject of the article, Andy Duncan. Undoing these edits has resulted in significant improvements, including the use of references but additions such as, Most recently, on 1 August 2011, H.R. Owen announced the acquisition of Broughtons of Cheltenham, a smaller luxury motor dealer. Broughtons owns three Bentley franchises in Cheltenham, Pangbourne and Byfleet (strengtheing H.R. Owen's relationship with Bentley) and an Aston Martin franchise in Cheltenham, forging a relationship between H.R. Owen and Aston Martin for the first time is not appropriate in this article. Duncan's public profile has been significantly reduced in his move from chief executive of a national TV channel to a private company, recording every development at HR Owen falls foul of WP:COATRACK and WP:TOPIC. HR Owen is an interesting company clearly up to significant things but if any of that is notable, the place to describe it is in its own article. Exok (talk) 11:11, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
