This page was reverted by user Piano non troppo under a claim of unsourced material. As listed in the page, all material not from the Catholic Encyclopedia (including the prima nocte rumor) has been found in From the Vikings to the Reformation: A Chronicle of the Faroe Islands up to 1538.
