In regards to notability, Dr. Ellis' 3 publications in JRME are distinctly notable, given that it's "the most influential periodical in mathematics education research worldwide and the fourth most referenced educational research journal of any kind" (according to the JRME wikipedia entry). The Journal of the Learning Sciences and Science are also very highly regarded in academia, and in addition, she has co-authored two books. Therealcaro (talk) 21:33, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Added Dr. Ellis' prestigious award for AERA to add to notability. Therealcaro (talk) 21:52, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

notability first edit

This article tells us that Amy Burns Ellis got a degree in whatever from the University of Somewhere before it explains why she is sufficiently notable that there's a Wikipedia article about her. In Wikipedia articles about a person, the latter should come first. Michael Hardy (talk) 19:50, 13 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
