Plot

The plot synopsis as it currently stands is far too long (longer than the plot synopsis for Half-Life, even) and reads more like a step-by-step guide to the game. I'm going to edit it down but let's keep it from getting this out of hand in the future. -jayunderscorezero (talk) 08:15, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

I did the major trimming involved. Not even sure how it got this ridiculously drawn out, especially with the over-blown symbolism explanations. If there's more that needs to be cleaned up, feel free to do so. Dibol (talk) 02:52, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

father

Im not sure, but toward the end (just before it is revealed that the mother is the abuser) the mother is heard yelling I will never let him take you from me. Had it been child services should would have said them. also during the game some of the child drawing show a pink and red figure, this is most likely to show mum and dad. if you play the ending mutltiple times, you'll see that in some endings the child will say DADDY. also if you'll recall, there were pictures of the mom reading to an unknown child of about 5 or 6 years of age during the game, this suggests that the parents lost one child, and that led to their difficulties, ending in divorce and the mother suffering from depression and turning to alcohol. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.25.175.206 (talk) 00:21, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Gender of the toddler

What's the point of this section? It creates unnecessary debate. The child's gender is definitely not meant to be specified because it doesn't really matter. The use of male pronouns in the synopsis isn't necessarily an implication of the child being male but rather a habit thing from whoever wrote it. Story Section

Where are these names coming from? I cannot find sources anywhere naming any character in this game aside from their abstract titles (Toddler, Mother, Teddy, etc.) If these names are not canon they should be removed. The entire Story section could use some cleaning up as well.
