Application of law edit

The law allowed a rapist to avoid prison if they marry their victim. That sounds simple enough. But is this what the law actually provided? For a rape remains a rape if the victim is not the wife of the rapist at the time of the rape. Why does subsequent marriage legitimize and render honourable rather than dishonourable the crime? Furthermore, does not the victim have to consent to the marriage? Marriage without consent would surely be a nullity, even in an Islamic country, would it not? I suggest that the article needs some more explanation of these points, and quotes from the actual law.Royalcourtier (talk) 22:45, 19 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Women in red edit

{{wpbio}} Amina Filali is listed as a red link in the Women in red project under the name Amina El Filali. Also, would it be preferable for the article to simply be entitled "Amina Filali"?
