Merge with 8 Years of Blood, Sake and Tears
editIt doesn't make much sense to have two articles on what is more or less the same album, especially when they could very easily be merged together. Since All the Good Shit seems to be the major release and 8 Years was only the Japanese release, I believe that 8 Years should be merged here. Thoughts? Fezmar9 (talk) 20:38, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- I agree. I suggest using a format similar to what is used on Go Chuck Yourself. Timmeh! 00:17, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- That is exactly what I had in mind! Fezmar9 (talk) 06:57, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also, I believe the full title of this album is All the Good Shit: 14 Solid Gold Hits 2000-2008 as that is what is shown on Amazon.com and the Barnes & Noble website, although Barnes & Noble lists it as "2001-2008" while Amazon lists it as "2000-2008". Timmeh! 00:20, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- The "14 Solid Gold Hits 2000-2008" part may be considered more of a description than a title, and could be debated whether or not the article should be moved (if that is what you were proposing). Similar to Refused's final album The Shape of Punk to Come which under the title on the cover stated "A Chimerical Bombination in 12 Bursts." A brief discussion took place on the talk page and the result was that it was more of a sub-title and the article should not be moved. Fezmar9 (talk) 06:57, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's been a while, so let's get this merge done. I suggest a merge as originally requested, using the format I suggested above. Does that sound good to you? Timmeh! 01:44, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- I was hoping for more input from other users, but it has been over a week now. I guess you can go ahead and merge them now. Let me know if you need any help! Fezmar9 (talk) 01:46, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

- The IP has already done so. Do you think it looks good the way it is? I think it would be more appropriate to show the information on All the Good Shit first, as that's the page title. Timmeh! 01:53, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- ...I think it looks terrible. It is basically the exact same information listed twice, with different infoboxes. There should only be one infobox, track listing, and personnel section with information about All the Good Shit listed first. Just use Go Chuck Yourself as a guide. "Little Know It All" isn't on this CD?
editThis song is certainly very good and very much worthy of being on the greatest hits CD. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kwakkles (talk • contribs) 07:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
"Controversy"?
editDoes anybody have any more info about the Japan "controversy" referenced in the lede? Seems like something that would merit an expanded explanation.MichaelProcton (talk) 12:44, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
