Propose resegmenting the history

Currently the "Development and Urbanization" section and the "Recent Developments" section contain a significant amount of overlap. I recommend using the annexation of Alief by Houston as a division point in the community's history. The division would limit the "Development and Urbanization" sections to events before annexation started in the 1970s. Thoughts/ opinions/ questoins/ concerns? Propose dividing the "Recent deveolpments" section into additional sections

This change would create an additional subheading under history for the annexation of Alief, from 1970- the last annexation so far in the late 1980's. • IS: Mata (same for bilingual students)
• MS: Holub

Defining whether something is "in Alief"

As per the Alief Super Neighborhood Council's homepage (as of June 9, 2020) there are multiple overlapping definitions of Alief:

• City of Houston Alief super neighborhood (entirely within the City of Houston, includes territory in Alief ISD and Fort Bend ISD in Fort Bend County)
• Alief Independent School District boundaries (entirely in Harris County, includes sections of the City of Houston (multiple super neighborhoods) and unincorporated areas)
• International District boundaries (includes sections of Harris and Fort Bend counties)
