This came up at WP:PNT and I was asked to look into it. THe references are there but essentially to her own works in admittedly learned journals and reliable but WP:PRIMARYSOURCE, as she is the author of those references. Now if you take them away what you are left with is failing the WP:BLP criterion of having at least one reliable secondary source i.e. WP:RS.

There is no indication of notability, so what, she is a PhD, I have more letters after my name than in it (but then I have a very short name). I have been published in more esteemed journals than this woman, and I don't have a bio, quite rightly, because in Wikipedia terms I am not notable. My name is not dropped in software engineering circles, people do not swoon as I pass, I am equally non notable and this is an attempt, I think, to make a non notable person notable. Not sure this was self created but the signs all point to it. The reason this came up at WP:PNT is that it was originally inserted into English Wikpedia in Spanish or Portuguese not sure which and so I got a tell-tale from one of the regulars at PNT whose username is half Kanji but you can look over there if you disbelieve me. UserInkobe or something but it is a bugger for me to type cos it is Kanji at the back end. Si Trew (talk) 03:56, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Simon, as you've probably noticed your nomination for speedy deletion was rejected. In this case, I think the only option is taking it to WP:AFD. From what I have observed in the past, if Ms. Sanchez is a notable academic then the AFD regulars will find the sources and improve the article. If not, it will be deleted in due course.
