Complicated names
editAlfreda is the common way her name is spelled for public, but officially it is always Elfriede. She came with her mother Irene Seirer to England and shortly after her mother married Ronald Benge in 1947, but at that time her mother also used the last name Cichy. Elfriede married Derek Aslett in 1961 and when she married in 1974 her name was given as Elfriede Aslett.
