This is my first Wikipedia Article and this article is in progress. I have read the help pages and would like to successfully place an article about a company, though I am not promoting it. Simply writing about it. Please give me some time on this as I've studies other articles discussing companies and since this company has not yet been written on, there's not a lot of information I can gather except the minimum. According to wikipedia guidelines, I have reliable sources for this article. I have referenced links to stories regarding the history of the founder, the company orerations itself (based on their website) and press coverage from reliable sources such as the Miami Herald, Business Week, CBS, etc. Though there is minimal information on the company, it is not an advertisement on the company itself but reports on the company and its operations. Other Wikipedia pages, such as Seamless Web, Fresh Direct, Trader Joe's, etc also discuss the same type of content discussing company profile, goals, accomplishments and operations. Some with less amount of references than the article for Delivery4Tip so I would like to continue this in my argument for contesting the deletion of this article as it seems valid by comparison to other Wikipedia articles/entries of similar companies. Defiance Book

You could ask them, but if you try it you'll almost certainly find yourself looking at a siteban. Wikisource is explicitly not a vanity publisher. – iridescent 17:07, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Criminal Charge

I don't think that'd be appropriate, as it glosses over the actual reason he was charged. 'Multiple' is very vague, and although a US court opined that there were political motivations, the Russian courts don't think that. As far as Russia's concerned, he's a fugitive, and the article needs to make that a lot more apparent than it does. This chap is rather controversial, even for an oligarch. Something like "Embezzlement (Russia)<line break> Fleeing federal immigration authorities (USA)" would be more accurate, as he was never tried for the first as far as I can see. I know he was arrested for fleeing immigration authorities in the US, but was he charged with it? The next section of the box clarifies why he hasn't been found guilty with the text 'Political asylum, USA'. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 11:37, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia Experts

I'm sure there's concern about COI/Advertising and whatnot, but I'm curious when the Wikipedia Experts thing will be notable for this biography. I'm sure that this press release won't make it so, but perhaps this DigitalTrends article comes close. Ocaasi (talk) 05:58, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Some notes:

• The company in question changed their name recently. The name listed in the Digital Trends article is correct.
• Mediabistro.com published a WebNewser entry, but it is a very short mention, mostly just quotes from the press release listed above.

Oh, I wasn't even thinking of that potential confusion. I was more must looking for a better way to say "a PR firm for Wikipedia articles", but while giving enough details for it to be informative. You can add it if you want, unless you'd rather the extra extra coi stuff be put in by someone else. I think you've shown plenty of commitment to peer-review and transparency to do it. Autobiography tag

Regarding the autobiography tag that states "This article appears to be an autobiography. Pages that have been extensively edited by the subject or an institution related to the subject may not conform to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy." Is there any change to the article that you or other editors wish to make that the COI editor(s) is/are resisting? If not, then none of the tags apply, because the current version reflects Wikipedia consensus and policy. The COI tag is there when there are problems with the article because an editor with a conflict of interest is resisting Wikipedia policy, not to punish good-faith editors who are participating appropriately. I see. You're the one with the conflict of interest. (That wasn't entirely clear at COIN.) Where possible, please add URLs to the references in the article so that it is easier for a neutral editor to verify claims made. Thanks. Yes, I am one of the conflicted editors helping with this article. Sorry it wasn't clear on COIN (beyond that it was a self-reported notice). I reviewed the article per Wikipedia:Avoid_peacock_terms#Puffery, and was unable to find any major puffery. Previous edits have already improved the article in that respect. NPOV seems ok, but a better review of the references will help know more. I am a bit concerned with the word 'empire' in the lead, perhaps that can be rewritten.

I'll next be helping with better referencing. Already updated a few of the old cites that didn't have URLs, and added a bunch more. These will be sorted and better inline refs used.
