There's a chance that I might see Alan within a few months as he has vague plans to come to the Netherlands. When so, I'll try and ask him :-) Didgeweb 12:10, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Today (February 24) I heard the terrible news that Alan passed away, just before sunrise, at St Vincents Hospital Sydney, after having suffered a cerebral hemorage. Didgeweb (talk) 14:20, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Trivia

A nice piece of trivia (not sure if it fits on the main page). When Alan appears in the Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the background didgeridoo music is not played by Alan Dargin, but by Charlie McMahon. Thanks, but which is which (or whom is whom)? What is the red wood the didges are made from? Also, can we figure out which species was his bloodwood? Bloodwood gives several, and doesn't mention that any of them are extinct. Badagnani (talk) 10:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

NT or NSW

The article puts him in the category People from the Northern Territory but doesn't say from whence in that province he came; it only says he lived in NSW. Can we get more specifics about this (eventually)? Badagnani (talk) 10:52, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
