The History of the Mohammedan Dynasties in Spain as linked here, is not in French, only Arabic. There exists an english translation under [1]. --R. la Rue (talk) 10:45, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

@M.Bitton, what do you mean by "He obviously wasn't"? He literally wrote a book especially dedicated for a noted Andalusian scholar (Ibn Khatib), not to mention that his works were a wealth of information about Andalusian scholars. He also was the writer of 'Rawdat al-As' which was about the Moroccan scholars (ulemas) he met in Marrakesh and Fez. Ibn Qattuta (talk) 16:35, 4 August 2023 (UTC) (Blocked sock of SimoooIX)Reply

I was referring to the fact that you described a by-product of his interest in Iyad as an interest. I suggest you read it again. M.Bitton (talk) 16:50, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I understand. I agree that the source wasn't clear enough about it. However, it remains a fact that he held a genuine interest in Andalusian and Moroccan scholars. His books, dedicated specifically to them, serve as the most reliable testament to this fact. Ibn Qattuta (talk) 17:51, 4 August 2023 (UTC) (Blocked sock of SimoooIX)Reply
He wrote books about the people that he was interested in (such as Ibn al-Khatib). M.Bitton (talk) 18:28, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
