Ava’s Mitochondria DNA
editI had my DNA tested via 23 and Me and it was determined that through my British born mother, our mitochondria shows we are descendants of Ava! This was an unexpected surprise! Archeologists who have studied Ava think she died during childbirth. If this is true, she would have had a girl since mitochondrial dna passes through the female side, thus making her child our ancestor. Ycdx1 (talk) 22:17, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
