Dubious box office results
edit78.149.102.34 - it's way past time for you to explain why you keep re-adding the unsourced "Box office result" column to the table of films. The column has two significant problems that make it unsuitable in its present state:
- The assessments are entirely unsourced and highly dubious. They look skewed, as if to advertise an improbable success rate. They need references if they are to stay.
- Rather than using accurate numbers, the assessments are given using extremely informal, unencyclopedic language like "super hit" and "mega hit". What is the difference is between a super hit and a mega hit? These terms are subjective, though their presentation in a table misleadingly suggests there is a precise meaning to each. Numbers are needed, not propaganda terms.
If you can provide a source that supports the box office assessments, or better yet, a source with gross box office figures for the films in question, you are absolutely invited to re-add the column. However, if you continue to simply re-add the dubious info without bothering to explain your rationale, your edits will continue to be reverted. AtticusX (talk) 00:04, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
It is a known fact that antony perumbavoor was mohanlal's driver and that his productions are as an act of binami to mohanlal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.204.112.62 (talk) 11:08, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Production and Distribution
editI think Aashirvad Cinemas is the production studio and Max Lab is the distributors. --Alfasst (talk) 04:50, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Unsourced information
editI decided to take a close look at the information on this article (mainly those included in Other notes in the Filmography section) and the cited sources. I certainly find a lot of information that is unsourced, poorly sourced or not in the source. I am removing these information for now. I may have missed some sources used elsewhere in the article but not used in the Filmography section although I took maximum care to go through each references used in the page. The grounds on which I removed the information is written below:
- Narasimham: The source used is IB Times, which is not a reliable source (see WP:IBTIMES); The budget, gross and mentions about being the highest grossing film which are cited using IB Times source are removed.
- Ravanaprabhu: No source for the claim that this was the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.
- Kilichundan Mampazham: No source for the claim that the film was a commercial success. Also, I found an article by Rediff which gives a clue that the film did not particularly do well at the box office.
- Natturajavu: The source does not mention it was one of the highest grossing films of the year and only says that the film was the winner among the Onam releases.
- Naran: The cited source only mentions that the film was the winner among the Onam releases. No source for the claim that it was one of the highest grossing film of the year.
- Rasathanthram: The source used in the lead mentions that the film was the top among Vishu releases and nothing else.
- Baba Kalyani: No source.
- Ali Bhai: No source.
- Innathe Chintha Vishayam: No source.
- Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded: The source used in the body of the article mentions that the film had a good opening but started sliding and had a "pathetic" occupancy in the following weeks. This source has been used for the claim the film was a commercial success. Reworded as per the source.
- China Town: Two sources used in the body of the article. The first says it was a major hit and the second says it was one of the five films declared a hit that year. No changes made as it can be assumed that the film was among the highest grossing films based on these sources.
- Snehaveedu: No source.
- Casanovva: No source.
- Spirit: No source.
- Ladies and Gentleman: No source for the claim it was a commercial failure.
- Ennum Eppozhum: No source for the claim it was a commercial success.
- Loham: Claims made using IBTimes as a source removed.
- Odiyan: Claims made using IBTimes as a source removed.
- Ittymaani: Made in China: No source for the budget or gross figures or that the film was a commercial success.
- Drishyam 2: No source for the budget or gross figures.
- Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham: Source only mentions the budget. No source for the gross or the claim that it was a commercial failure.
- Bro Daddy: No source for the budget or gross figures.
- 12th Man: No source for the budget or gross figures.
- Monster: No source for the budget or gross figures.
- Drishyam 2: Removing this entry because the wiki article of the film does not mention Aashirvad Cinemas as one of the production companies. Please cite a source which states Aashirvad Cinemas coproduced the film along with others.
- Alone: No source for the budget; The source only mentions the film was a failure and collected less than one crore.
