- Post-close comment. For the record, the common name was "Martina", without the affix. Affix was for Wikipedia:Naming conventions (sports teams) and to disambiguation to Martina Franca the city/municipality, or other sport team of the city such as LCF Martina. It is fine to move to the new official name , as the aforementioned Naming conventions also suggested to use official name. Since A.C. or A.S.D. would be piped anyway, it had not that much practical change . Also, the club had been played under "A.S.D. Martina Franca" for a few year (from 2008 to 2012) and "A.S. Martina Franca" from 2012 to 2016 (until another bankruptcy), and at least 2 years at the time of the RM in 2010, it is not that hard to prove Italian media would use the new full name instead at that time.
