• This article is a mess (catastrophe might be a better term). The list of Representatives includes two for some seats, some which appear to be of later elections, some were "invalidated election", etc. This information needs to be pointed out. I've been trying to do some independent research for the 1888 election, and that article includes elections for states admitted after the election, and it shouldn't be there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.20.112.243 (talk) 04:18, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
