Talk:21st Century Insurance

Untitled edit

However the last sentence ("The company was purchased in 2005 by AIG and then later sold in 2009 to Farmers Insurance Group")is mention in "American International Group: American International Group, Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, Richard Holbrooke" almost word for word at site (for example) at http://www.investordictionary.com/%281jwckdisrec4dm55yeiyjj3y%29/store/product/1155610172.aspx in the "Product Description", but not know if this book is where they meant to quote from.

The bit about not being sold through independent agencies has been removed as it is not true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.127.104.11 (talk) 18:13, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

AIG Direct should not redirect to this page.

AIG Direct is the marketing name for Matrix Direct, Inc. which is a company that is part of the American International Group Inc. and sells life insurance. It has nothing to do with car insurance or Farmer's Insurance Group. AIG Direct, real company name being Matrix Direct, Inc., is a subsidiary of American General Life Insurance Company (AGL), Houston, TX and is an affiliate of The United States Life Insurance Company in the City of New York (USL), New York, New York. The foregoing is a direct quote from their advertising SPAM emails. Lind j a (talk) 16:09, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
