Emile Smith Rowe transfer

edit

On 2 August 2024, Arsenal announced that Emile Smith Rowe joined Fulham on a permanent transfer. The fee was reported to be an initial £27 million, potentially rising to £34 million in add-ons.

The following news reports don't mention that the deal includes a sell-on clause.

The following news reports mention that the deal includes a sell-on clause.

So I removed this line from the article:
{{efn|name=ESR_sell-on|group=TransfersOut|Arsenal inserted a sell-on clause worth over 10% for any future transfer Smith Rowe makes.<ref name="Smith Rowe fee"/>}}

criteria for academy players list

edit

"registered by the club on the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League Squad List A" is an odd criteria for listing academy players as most will be eligible for the B list. The criteria should be named on the subs bench or starting eleven in a competitive first team fixture this season Gordondrop008 (talk) 15:30, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

So I think this article should list Havertz as a midfielder and a forward (MF/FW) in the Arsenal squad list. Phikia (talk) 08:55, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I think we should stick to the Arsenal official website so that the information is consistent and unambigious throughout the article. I.e. what Arsenal say, goes. Is that okay? 86.27.26.70 (talk) 13:53, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
On 6 Oct 2024, user 178.167.185.38 changed Havertz's position from MF to FW (edit history). I undid 178.167.185.38's edits on the next day. But user 92.251.153.229 reverted my edit hours later, changing Havertz's position from MF to FW again (edit history). So I checked some websites today and thought it was a good idea to list Havertz as a midfielder and a forward (MF/FW). Now, I accept your points. I should stick to the Arsenal official website. Thanks for your reply! -- Phikia (talk) 14:50, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
