2022 Montana floods2022 Montana—Yellowstone floods – Floods cause very heavy damage in Yellowstone National Park as well, and the title should reflect that. 12.207.51.104 (talk) 14:23, 27 December 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! Discussion about initial close.

@EchidnaLives: Really? Shouldn’t you have participated and casted a vote instead of closing this discussion if you had an opinion on the title? This is the most WP:INVOLVED close ever on Wikipedia, that I’ve ever seen.68.197.135.166 (talk) 21:05, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

This was not an involved close. I am in no way involved and have no interest in this discussion, and I do believe the close was fair. However, per request, I will unclose the discussion. echidnaLives - talk - edits 23:58, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey EchidnaLives, please always remember to reinstate the RM notice in the article if you reopen a discussion. I have already done so. Thanks, Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 02:48, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wikiexplorationandhelping This isn’t the responsibility of the closer/uncloser. The bot does this step. echidnaLives - talk - edits 02:59, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
EchidnaLives Well, the bot apparently does not seem to do so. It only removes or adds the RMCD notice, when the RM discussion is closed or when a new RM discussion starts, respectively. I've noticed this when I reopen RM discussions. Cheers, Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 03:15, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Oppose on two grounds. 1) Using the name Yellowstone absent Yellowstone National Park could be misleading as there are a number of places named Yellowstone. 2) The majority of Yellowstone National Park lies in Wyoming and indeed most of the major flooding originated in headwaters located in the park, but not all. The flooding on the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River originated in headwaters outside the park. A suitable name might be 2022 Montana and Wyoming floods but I personally don’t think that’s necessary. Mike Cline (talk) 17:11, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
