In the article, Donald Trump has been listed as a candidate for the 2020 Nobel peace prize. Reportedly, the nominations were received after recent peace negotiations and developments in the Middle-east[1][2]. However, since the deadline for submission of nominations for this year's award was in february [3], he would more likely be a candidate for the 2021 Nobel Prize. Norwegian Nobel Committee does not disclose names of nominators nor of nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize (only after 50 years have elapsed). Names of nominees may only be made public by their nominators. So far, there is no other information made public to support that Donald Trump was nominated prior to february deadline and is a candidate for the 2020 Peace Prize. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.212.24.243 (talk) 18:10, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
