all with varying numbers killed - some even as high as 6000! - and also, some Nigerians seem to conclude these are deliberately false claims spread with political motivations. (Browse threeds on nigerianbulletin for example). I am not sure if this site is trustworthy, but it was one of the only sites I was able to find.
Is there any way we can verify these killings actually took place?
It seems there is actually talk of several different events that are all more or less connected.
Someone knowledgeable of the country should investigate.
