Color Rush uniforms

edit

It makes no sense to include the color rush uniform if the team does not use it, by that logic you should include an all white (jersey and pants) and a regular all purple uniform because those are also possible combos Czechia2016 (talk) 18:24, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

You're right, it would be stupid to put the all-purple and all-white colour combos, so we don't do that. However, those combos are still represented by the fact that the purple and white pants are shown with their usual jersey partners. The Color Rush uniform, however, is entirely different to the usual uniforms, and was still part of this season's wardrobe even though it wasn't ultimately used. – PeeJay 10:56, 25 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Wouldn't you think the average person would assume "oh these are the uniforms that WERE WORN" in 2017 when in fact one was never used Czechia2016 (talk) 18:31, 27 December 2017 (UTC) at least it should say above the color rush "not used" or something like that Czechia2016 (talk) 18:38, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
It’s no concern of mine what the average person would assume, but no, I don’t think the average person would assume that. I think the average person would see that uniform was part of the team’s wardrobe, then look at the team’s schedule and see which game(s) were played on a Thursday night (when the Color Rush uniforms are worn). – PeeJay 19:54, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Why would you assume people understand that color rush game could only be a Thursday night game? besides some teams (LA Chargers for example ) wore theirs on a Sunday afternoon. Czechia2016 (talk) 21:28, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

2017 Divisional Round Game Walk Off Miracle Summary

edit

So after reviewing the tape of that game at the end yes you are right he did take a knee but if it says “Run Failed” right on the summary of the game that doesn’t make any sense because if he really did start the play he would’ve threw the ball away to end it so that would be considered failing to get 2 points but if Keenum took a knee it shouldn’t really say “Run Failed” because he didn’t exactly start the play. 71.38.106.38 (talk) 19:22, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Any time the ball is snapped, that counts as a play. Taking a knee counts as a run play, and since the conversion was not made, it counts as a failed conversion. This is how the NFL Game Book (linked in the article) records the play, so I don't know why you have a problem with this. – PeeJay 10:50, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
