Some news worth incorporating edit

  • Greek ambassador Kyvetos meets with Kurdish officials, announces Greek gov't's decision to upgrade diplomatic office (news media report this like it's notable, I'm not sure). [[1]] [[2]]

Commentary from Demirtas, while in Turkish jail [[3]]

Maybe the most significant-- Russia's Rosneft clinches big oil deal with the KRG [[4]]

I'm sure the Turkey/Iran developments will be found by other people as well, I posted some of the more obscure but possibly useful stuff here for future incorporation.--Yalens (talk) 03:58, 25 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also more fiery words from Erdogan [[5]] --Yalens (talk) 05:05, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Number of votes edit

Sum of "yes" votes (263,094) and "no" votes (18,923) is an order of magnitude smaller than total number of (valid) votes (3,305,925). What gives? 109.60.38.197 (talk) 14:08, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Only 10% of the votes has been counted. Check here: [7]--Ahmedo Semsurî (talk) 14:29, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Reactions edit

It's entirely unclear which reactions are to the results of the referendum and which date from before it was held. Are all those from before really still necessary? Thryduulf (talk) 22:21, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I believe they are informative. We should separate out ones that were before the referendum to those that came after it. I believe there was at least one version of the page where this was once the case. --Yalens (talk) 22:25, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Results edit

The lede's first sentence has "preliminary results showing approximately 93.25 percent of votes cast in favour of independence" whereas #5 Results shows the final percentage as 92.73. Is there any reason not to change the current text? Mcljlm (talk) 00:40, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
