Classification on group E edit

According to FIBA Official Basketball Rules section D part D.1.3 rules of classification in same win-loss record are as below:

•Higher goal difference of the games between them

•Higher number of goals scored in the games between them

•Higher goal difference of all games in the group

•Higher number of goals scored in all games in the group

so I guess Iran is the first team in this group — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.224.79.48 (talk) 06:27, 28 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I know it's moot and academic, but the Philippines had a "Higher goal difference of the games between" Iran because they beat Iran. –HTD 03:52, 3 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
And you have to skip the entire first paragraph of the rule that tells you that the head-to-head game is the first tie-breaker to even bring it into question.18abruce (talk) 00:31, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
As long as there are only 2 teams tied, any team that won the head-to-head match-up also wins the head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head number of goals scored criteria... –HTD 09:58, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Match Lebanon vs Jordan was not counted in the standings of Group F. Correct info: Lebanon 414:411, Jordan 374:397. 178.95.188.170 (talk) 23:00, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
