Infobox

edit

In the infobox, only the major party candidates are included. The infobox can only include up to eight candidates. In some elections, there are more than eight candidates because of lenient ballot access laws. The rule is that a candidate needs to get at least 5% in get into the infobox. In American politics, it rarely happens anyway.--Jerzeykydd (talk) 19:43, 27 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I would add that if reliable polling (probably will happen soon) indicates that any third-party candidate has a chance at getting 5% of the vote, the infobox can be easily modified to include those candidates. --Esprqii (talk) 18:50, 28 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I would add that I (Steven Reynolds) received 69% (9/13) of the vote during my nomination. I also will respectfully defer to the Major Party rule in the event that 10 candidates actually qualify for the special election ballot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apologeticone23 (talkcontribs) 20:59, 28 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Can we consider adding all the qualified candidates after the ballot order is determined? (Dec 13)Apologeticone23 —Preceding undated comment added 22:09, 1 December 2011 (UTC).Reply
