Speculatory content
editThe ASO is considering the possibility of bringing Brazil, Bolivia and Peru into the event for 2012.
Since it has been requested I justify the redirect here it is. The above sentence - "considering the possibility" - is speculatory. Per WP:CBALL, wikipedia does not do specalatory content. We just don't. Once that sentence, and the one following it which is dependant on the above sentence the only content in the article is stating which iteration of the event is. If nominated for an AfD this article as it stands would very quickly fail. The only logical outcome is redirect.
Wikipedia is not a news source, WP:NOTNEWS. We don't publish the first bit of soft news rumour when it appears we publish when it is confirmed fact. Please bear this in mind when creating new articles. --Falcadore (talk) 00:48, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Content
editInstead of huge blocks of tabular results covering the top three in each stage, can we actually have some sentences covering how the rally evolved? Raw statistics in this form is not very readable and does not tell a story very well. It is essentially unreadable to casual readers, who are wikipedia's target audience. All they can tell is three people died and the rally went across three countries.
Who lead, who won, notable retirments, this is the most important information and is abest in prose form. --Falcadore (talk) 03:02, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- You are right. I can't do it though. I lack interest and knowing. -Koppapa (talk) 12:32, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
