Concerts and Films Are Not That Important
editWhy are concerts and films included in this page? Wikipedia is not a place for putting schedules of events such as these and someone should probably make a new article for the films. I'll be deleting those for now. Sairyu (talk) 04:28, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- I'd argue it's quite important: this article is like one of those you'd read at almanacs. Since it's probably a bad idea to add Philippine films at 2011 in film or concerts at 2011 in music, they should be here, instead, same with TV programs. –HTD 19:45, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- It's been almost a month, and no argument was presented, so I restored them. –HTD 19:28, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
Concert, Films, and Television contents are not that vital
editThis page looks like an advertisement. Please, people. This is Wikipedia! And for the television shows and films, there's a separate article for that as far as I can remember. If there's none, you can kindly make one. I'll be deleting these parts again. Sairyu (talk) 19:18, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's not an advertisement; it's a record of what happened in the year. These can't be added in 2011 in film and the like. There's no separate article and the proper place is here. –HTD 05:55, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Partial Keep. It's a provides a guide to the development of popular music culture in the Philippines, so I say keep. At least until we figure out how to differentiate between a 'notable' concert and a non-notable one. In addition, I think we're missing some items. How about non-mainstream concerts? For example, did any classical musicians perform important concerts that year?- Alternativity (talk) 10:50, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Basically, as long as there is a source (there are none lol) or at least proof that it happened, the concerts should stay. The TV shows (which is in a separate article already) and movies should be no-brainers. Think of this article as an annual on what happened in the Philippines. Aside from births, deaths and events such as disasters and politics, surely something else happened; these are vital too. –HTD 14:27, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
