Huge mostly blank unsourced drivers/teams table should be shortened to only confirmed teams. Have a look at 2011 World Touring Car Championship season and 2011 World Rally Championship season for examples of how to limit the scale of 2011 tabling when it's still just October. --Falcadore (talk) 07:40, 21 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ultimately I don't think anybody but you is offended by an empty table. The table will soon fill with driver confirmations within the next few months so it really isn't an issue. The difference between this table and the ones on articles you mentioned is that the list of teams participating in GP3 and the number of cars they will field is known whereas it's anyone's guess as to exactly who and in what form a team will enter the WRC - GP3 is much more definite and a team will almost always race in every event of the season unlike in WRC where it is very difficult to assess what is going on until each individual rally entry list is published. It's not about offence, it's just sloppy editting that is very easy to correct. 'Will soon fill out' also steps firmly into WP:CBALL. If the list of teams and number of cars is known then it should be sourced, yes? Is that so hard? --Falcadore (talk) 20:32, 21 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Country codes edit

I notice that someone has decided to use country codes (GRB, ITA, etc.) in the tabulated data. However, I can find no evidence that these events are considered races of those nations; they are just GP3 races that occur at those track which happen to be in that country. This is particularly glaring when you look at the two Spanish-hosted races. Why is the event at Catalunya afforded the "Spanish" abbreviation, yet the Valencian round is given "Valencia" as its location? Certainly Autosport just lists the events as 'the GP3 race at Circuit X, in country Y', and does the official GP3 website. I think our using country codes here is confusing and tends to imply a status that the races just don't have. Pyrop e 18:09, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's also occurring in the tables of individual drivers' pages, and also occurring on GP2 related pages and tables. National identity belongs exclusively to Formula One because its race are named Nationality Grand Prix, that does not extend to support races on Grand Prix programs. --Falcadore (talk) 22:08, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
