3 or 2? edit

While it says there are 3 questions, there are only 2 elaborated. Is this correct? 76.117.247.55 (talk) 20:49, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Referendum or referendums? edit

I moved this article from "Italian electoral law referendum, 2009" to "Italian electoral law referendums, 2009". An editor moved it back giving as reason "still one event". In my opinion, "one event" and "three referendums" are different notions. More to the point, the singular title would be appropriate if it were a single referendum with three questions. As it were, they were three distinct referendums, each with its own separate ballot. Voters could choose to vote for just one or two of them. It might have happened that one reached the necessary quorum but another would not.

So, if it is important to stress the fact that they were held jointly, we could insert the date in the article title, or say something like "Italian electoral law referendum session, 2009", say.

As it is, it is just wrong. If I stumbled upon this page, I'd ask myself "Which one of the three?"

Any opinions? Goochelaar (talk) 19:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Compare this to articles like "... general election, ..." – those articles are usually about parliamentary AND presidential elections, which also have separate ballots, but the article title is still singular, not plural. Whether it's one ballot or not doesn't matter, it's still just one referendum; also compare the Swiss referendum articles, where the article titles (both in English and in German) are also singular despite the fact that there's more than one ballot for the different questions. —Nightstallion 06:59, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
While we're at it – could someone please be so kind as to locate the official results (or copy-paste from it.wiki)? I've got too much to do today, alas. —Nightstallion 07:00, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
