Talk:1 Reichspfennig (World War II German coin)

Quality of images edit

The images used in the info box of are of such poor quality it is difficult to see any detail. Also the original resolution is only 130 × 130 so the images are shown highly magnified on the page, revealing no additional detail.

I know it can be difficult to photograph coins with a digital camera, but the end result here is so poor that one wonders why anyone would bother to post it. A better question might be why you would use a digital camera to photograph a small object such as a coin in the first place. There are much easier methods that give vastly superior results!

Because these images are so poor, perhaps they should be replaced with the clearer images currently placed lower on the page. John Alan Elson WF6I A.P.O.I. 00:14, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Misleading wording edit

The original wording on this and several similar pages gives the impression that these denominations were issued only during the war, which is not true. The main difference between the WW2 version and prewar version is the metal used, with just slight differences in the emblem. I don't think that was the author's intention, but the original wording gives that impression. John Alan Elson WF6I A.P.O.I. 00:14, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
