Let’s get the record straight….

Hello. As a member of the CSLA baseball team of 1977 it was brought to my attention that the article listed does not accurately reflect details about our team. We were the “Diablos” not Golden Eagles. The team roster is not complete. It should reflect all the players or at the very least the complete starting lineup. It should also reflect the full coaching staff. The article should reflect that team not someone else’s idea of that team. Let’s fix this and get the record straight. 22doubles! 1977 Cal-State LA Baseball

Hello. I would like to start a conversation on revising the Article that is currently on Wikipedia regarding Cal-State LA Baseball team of 1977. Cal-State LA or CSLA has always been used to reference the school by name. The nickname “Diablos” was used in 1977.There are many newspaper references supporting the name. LA Times and Herald Examiner to name a few. Team roster and Coaching roster should be part of any article. That team was the first and only CSLA Baseball team to play in College World Series.
