Questions over the vote figures edit

There are a couple of sketchy areas for the voting figures:

A few sources state that there were 144,420 registered voters and 121,573 people who voted (which suggests there may be around 20,000 votes for "others"). However, this would be a turnout of around 84%, whereas Shaffer gives a figure of 71%.

The 144,420 registered voters figure and total for the four parties (101,424) gives a turnout of 70%. However, if you use an alternative figure of 16,068 for the Orthodox Autonomist Party (which appears in a few sources), you get to a turnout of 71%.

So, were there any other parties or independents? If not, why do some sources claim there were 121,573 voters? Invalid votes?

Also, which is the correct vote total for the Orthodox Autonomist Party? 15,068, 16,068 (or one source states 18,068)... Cheers, Number 5 7 00:00, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
